URAC School Swimming Programs
Welcome to the URAC Swim School! Our Swim School has been teaching children to swim for over 20 years opening in 1990 and still providing quality swimming programs today. Operating out of a heated 50m outdoor pool, we cater for school groups both Primary and Secondary school levels.
We are proud to be Swim Australia and Austswim registered Swim School. All of our teachers hold a minimum qualification of Swim Australia/Austswim Teacher of water safety and CPR, with many of them also maintaining additional qualifications of senior first aid and pool lifeguard licenses.
School Swimming Programs:
More than 15 local school groups currently utilise URAC Swim School for their Swimming Education Programs each year. Swimming lessons are conducted in two different formats:
Fortnightly intensive lessons: in which children are required to attend lessons at the same time each day for two weeks.
Term by Term weekly bookings: in which children are required to attend lessons at the same time each week for 5 to 10 weeks.
The lessons offered are skills based and have been developed in-line with the National Swim and Survive Program operated by Royal Life Saving Society. All children are taught and assessed according to these outcomes. This will assist children to respect and enjoy aquatic environments.
